The Freshers Ball will be held at Nottingham Trent Students’ Union on Shakespeare Street – City Campus. Doors will open at 8pm, and the event will finish at 1:30am. You are encouraged to arrive by 9:30pm to take advantage of the free drinks reception and free sweet treat!

Freshers who have purchased the ‘Freshers Pass Plus’ or ‘Ultimate Freshers Pass’ have guaranteed entry to the Freshers Ball included within their pass!

Unfortunately, the standard Freshers Pass does not gain access to the Freshers Ball, and pass holders will need to purchase a separate Freshers Ball ticket.

Only NTU Freshers (and their guests) can attend the Freshers Ball.

Definition of “NTU Fresher”:  

  • Those that have accepted a place on a full-time or part-time course starting in September/October 2023 at either: Nottingham Trent University, Confetti, Nottingham College, Nottingham Trent International College or NTU in Mansfield. This includes postgraduate as well as undergraduate courses.   
  • Students that have relocated from another university and are enrolling at Nottingham Trent University for the first time.   
  • Students retaking part or all their first year at Nottingham Trent University 

Yes! NTU Freshers can bring up to 2 non-student guests each and must have their own ticket. You must arrive together to ensure smooth entry into the event.

Freshers Ball is a formal event; think black tie and evening dresses. Dress to impress!
